Till a few years back there were just two different types of lounge chairs available, the classical and the contemporary. But, of late, a third type is slowly making its way on the scene and is being appreciated.
It has not happened in a day. Over the years, the lounge chair has grown as a favorite asset for most pool owners in the country. After a long dip in the swimming pool, you want to lie down and relax your soles. However, you need to wait till your body is completely dry before heading indoors.
There is definitely a difference between modern and retro design. A modern lounge layout is sleek, uncluttered and functional. Retro may not actually be old but it refers to styles that were iconic in the past decades. Here are a few differences between modern and retro lounge designs
Creating a retro bedroom can be hip and not outdated. Think back in the early 60’s, 70’s or even 80’s when the retro style was commonly used. When you think of retro, you think of hippies with their peace and loving attitude, disco parties and colorful and geometrical designs.
