There are few things pieces if furniture which are as bad for your body as the standard office chair. Having to sit for hours as a stretch is bad enough, but having to do it in a chair which offers little or no back and arm support and very little ”wiggle room” can cause some serious and chronic back, shoulder, neck, and wrist problems.
However, the chair only becomes ergonomic if it correctly suits a person’s size, their workstation, and the tasks that must be performed there. The search to find the correct chair may be somewhat difficult, but it is not impossible by any means.
